Eugene W. McBride’s studies have been at the Juilliard School of Music, William Paterson College (now Wm. Paterson University) and the Center for Media Arts. Stanley Wolfe, Huge Aitkin, Nahum Amir, and Steven Wohlrab are listed as his primary composition teachers. McBride’s orchestral piece, Four for Orchestra, is recorded on MMC Orchestral Miniatures, Vol. V, with the composer conducting the Slovak Radio Symphony Orchestra. Numerous performances of Mr. McBride’s compositions have been performed in the USA and Argentina. Cesar Vuksic, pianist, premiered McBride’s piano solo, Nocturne, in Buenos Aries. Mr. McBride has received funding from Meet The Composer. He is one of the founding members of the New York Composers Circle.
